This is my first project in Comp Anim, Weight! We are finally moving away from assignments and simple exercises. This animation I also did in Krita, as I wanted to try out the software more, especially considering it's a free, open source program. Considering Krita's rather simple frame-by-frame animation tools, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. It probably took me longer to do in Krita than it would've to do in Toon Boom but I'm glad to have had the experience doing it in Krita, even if it was painful at times.
Welcome to The Art Blog of Bobby Adams!
Hello! Welcome to my blog!! My name is Bobby Adams, and I am currently in my senior year at USF, pursuing my BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in animation. Previously, I really only have experience with 3D animation using Maya. I don't have any real experience with 2D animation yet, so I'm excited to learn a new skillset and software in Computer Animation this semester. I'm hoping to learn about the roots of 2D computer animation while also learning how to efficiently animate using Toon Boom, so that I can apply it in my future work and maybe even produce work that blends 3D animation and 2D animation. I'm looking forward to Computer Animation and am excited to see what all it has to offer!!
