This was my Pantomime assignment for Comp Anim. Here, I animated my flour sack character that I created in the Gesture Sheet. I decided against the stabbing idea and instead went for a plane flying close by overhead, startling the Flour Sack.
This was my second project for Comp Anim: Walk Cycle! This character is pretty simple, and the walk cycle animation is a little choppy, but overall I'm happy with it. This animation was also done in Krita, and you can't have a panning camera or long background like you can in Toon Boom, so this was a learning experience figuring out how to time the background with the character to make it the pace of his walk cycle match the speed at which the background was moving. I used the cactus to measure and convey this speed/pace, which proved difficult than you might think when working in a software with such basic animating tools.
